Privacy policy
LongTailFinder.ai is designed to work without an account and without tracking you. This page explains exactly what data is involved and where it lives.
Last updated: October 2026
No accounts, no personal profiles
You can use every feature of LongTailFinder.ai — searching, filtering, saving keywords, and exporting files — without signing up or providing any personal information. We do not ask for your name, email address, or payment details.
Saved lists stay on your device
Keywords you bookmark into lists are stored in your browser's local storage (keys prefixed ltf.). That data never leaves your device — it is not uploaded to our servers, and clearing your browser storage removes it permanently. The trade-off is that lists do not sync between devices or browsers.
What the server sees
When the browser asks our server for keyword suggestions (or for live autocomplete mining via the suggest proxy), the request necessarily exposes your IP address and the keywords you searched. Like virtually every web server, this may be recorded in standard server logs for security and debugging. We do not link this data to any personal profile and do not sell it.
Cookies and tracking
We do not set advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not embed third-party analytics, pixels, or session-replay scripts. The only external resource loaded is the Geist webfont from Google Fonts, which automatically receives your IP address when the font is fetched.
Search suggestions and intent labels
Keyword suggestions shown in the tool are pulled live from Google Autocomplete, and intent labels are assigned on your device by a rule-based classifier. Nothing about this involves your personal activity: searching does not create a query history on our side beyond transient server logs. The tool does not display search volume, CPC, or difficulty data of any kind.
Children's privacy
The tool is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
If the way this site handles data changes, this page will be updated. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest revision.
